Volunteers

Since 2007, BRAFFTV - the exciting Brazilian Film & TV Festival of Toronto - has drawn audiences to more than 200 screenings of films produced in Brazil and by Brazilians abroad. BRAFFTV has also offered educational workshops and panel discussions. BRAFFTV has originated so far three spin-offs: Up to 3´, Pink Latino, and Tanz Cine Brazil. BRAFFTV is also the only Brazilian film festival abroad screening medium-length films.

BRAFFTV runs on volunteers only. BRAFFTV is produced by Southern Mirrors, a non-profit organization based in Toronto, and its Brazilian counterpart, Puente.

Your hard work as a volunteer will be rewarded with free access to screenings (restrictions apply) and an invitation to our closing party, a reference letter outlining the skills you utilized in your work, but the most important thing you will get from volunteering with the festival is the experience itself!

All volunteers must attend a sign-up/orientation session to be announced, where you will get an overview of the Festival, information on the various duties volunteers can perform, and pick which volunteer position(s)/shift(s) you would like to have.
